Painting on silk is my favourite medium. I am inspired by the vibrant colours on silk and the way the dye flows and blends to create infinite colours.

My garden and local wildlife is a constant joy on our Crescent Head bush block.

I am constantly taking photos of our beautiful beaches and bush as inspiration for my silk paintings. I start with a strong photo (or photos), then my mark making consists of a gutta (coloured rubber) drawing followed by vibrant coloured dyes that create a story of their own.

The coast has always featured strongly in my work as it has always been part of my life and connects me with the land and happiness for my soul.

As an award-winning artist, I exhibit regularly, hold silk painting classes and produce a range of prints, cards and silk scarves.
